Port Tanger is a luxury eyewear brand that was founded in 2017 by creative directors Daniël Sumarna and Bilal Fellah. The brand's name comes from the Moroccan city of Tangier and is inspired by a poem from a travel diary about the city. Port Tanger's designs aim to preserve the colors and cultures that travelers experience through their travels. The brand's frames are handmade in Japan with acetate material, high-quality hardware inserts, and nylon lenses that offer 100% UVA/UVB protection. The frames have a curved structure that complements the natural contours of the face and are designed to suit most facial structures. Each frame also features six arrow-shaped points on each side, with the points on the left representing the past and the points on the right representing the present.
